But usually energy efficiency plans do not fully exploit the potential for synergies that groups of buildings might offer. CESBA MED intends to test 10 different methodologies, tools and indicators developed by previous EU projects and select the most affordable and operational solutions. The objective of the LIFE-IP RBMP-MALTA project is to support the implementation of the second River Basin Management Plan (RBMP) through the establishment of an integrated framework for the optimised management of all water resources on the Maltese islands. AquaCycle aims to address the present situation of water scarcity in the southern Mediterranean region, with a mission to change the present model of wastewater reuse, and of imposing an eco-innovative technology (including anaerobic digestion, constructed wetland, solar treatment).
