The Innovation Fund provides support across all Member States to innovative low-carbon technologies and processes in energy intensive sectors that have the potential of mitigating climate change through significant emission reductions. Such funded projects are envisioned to be flagship projects and close-to-market.

St Julian's Beach Cleanup

The Territorial Cooperation Unit within the Funds and Programmes Division, shall be teaming up with Żibel, a local NGO, for a beach clean-up day, in the spirit of cooperation and collaboration, which are core principles of all Territorial Cooperation Programmes.

Measure 11.2 - Payment to maintain organic farming practices and methods

The measure provides support for farmers to maintain organic farming practices for a minimum of 5 years. This measure will therefore provide support to farmers that have converted to organic farming, after two years of benefitting from measure 11.1.

This measure shall also provide support for farmers who are already certified as organic producers and who have not benefitted under sub-measure 11.1. Beneficiaries must commit themselves to maintain the certified organic land for a minimum period of 5 years.

Measure 11.1 - Payment to Convert to Organic Farming Practices and Methods

This measure provides support for farmers to convert part or all of their production to organic farming practices. Support payments for conversion shall only apply for a maximum of two years following the certification “in conversion to organic” issued by the Control Authority or Control Body.

Information seminar in relation to the 4th call for project proposals under the Interreg Europe Programme

This information session will focus on the details relating to the 4th call for project proposals, the application pack, partner search possibilities, main errors identified from previous calls and national requirements for Maltese partners.  Certificates will be distributed to three new projects awarded funds under the third call.

Interreg V-A Italia-Malta 2014-2020

The Programme aims at promoting cooperation between Maltese and Sicilian entities by means of projects that contribute towards smart and sustainable growth, research and innovation, the competitiveness of small and medium sized enterprises as well as the protection of the environment, including mitigating climate change, natural and anthropogenic risks.
