Rehabilitation of Gozo’s Valleys to enhance their rain capturing and soil retention capabilities
The Ministry for Gozo was awarded from Measure 4.4 of the Rural Development Programme (2014-2020) to implement the project: ‘Rehabilitation of Gozo's Valleys to Enhance their rain capturing and soil retention capabilities’. Its scope is to augment the island’s soil retention and rain water capturing capabilities through the rehabilitation of 12 valleys across Gozo. CESBA MED
‘CESBA MED Sustainable MED Cities’: Energy efficiency improvement is a key strategy to reduce the environmental impact of public buildings. But usually energy efficiency plans do not fully exploit the potential for synergies that groups of buildings might offer. CESBA MED intends to test 10 different methodologies, tools and indicators developed by previous EU projects and select the most affordable and operational solutions. AQUACYCLE
AquaCycle aims to address the present situation of water scarcity in the southern Mediterranean region, with a mission to change the present model of wastewater reuse, and of imposing an eco-innovative technology (including anaerobic digestion, constructed wetland, solar treatment). This technology has a low cost of operation and maintenance as it uses less chemicals, runs on renewable energy, produces biogas and fertiliser, and the constructed wetland will thrive as an ecological tourist attraction, aside from being a climate-change mitigation measure.…

RESTART VI - ASSISTED VOLUNTARY RETURN AND RE-INTEGRATION IN COUNTRY OF ORIGIN

RESTART VI is a continuation of five Assisted Voluntary Return and Reintegration (AVRR) projects successfully implemented by IOM Malta in cooperation with the Maltese authorities since 2009.
